Al Manhal is a non-profit organsation, offering structured courses in Tajweed, from complete beginners, intermediate and Ijaazah. All our courses lead to certification.
Al Manhal is split into an English-speaking division and an Arabic-speaking division. Our main course material is the book Al Muneer book for the Arab Division and a set of 4 comprehensive Tajweed Booklets for the English Division.
Teaching in our centre is qualified teachers who have a Ijazaah in the Qur'an.
All our courses lead to certification.
Our mission at Al Manhal is to facilitate women to acquire an appreciation and respect for their own and other cultures, in a way that promotes tolerance and harmony between different cultural traditions, and an understanding of how they can contribute to the community: all through different courses, away from extremism. For our Childrens Club, we aim to to nurture in each child, an Islamic personality which encourages good manners and morals, in order to be productive British citizens who will confidently meet the challenges of the future and stay away from extremism, all through the Qur’an’s teachings. We are continually looking at ways of improving and encourage feedback from our students. Over the past few years we have introduced many new courses, such as Tajweed for New Muslims, Hifdh Course, Tafseer and a Makhaarij and Sifaat Course.
O mankind! Verily, there has come to you a convincing proof (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from your Lord; and We sent down to you a manifest light (this Qur’an).
Verily, this Qur’an guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ , who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise).
Alif-Lam-Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad ﷺ in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islamic Monotheism) by their Lord’s Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.
A Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may receive admonition
