Al Manhal, Manchester, is a non-profit organsation, offering structured courses in Tajweed, from complete beginners, intermediate and Ijaazah. All our courses lead to certification.
We aim to provide social, cultural and Islamic educational support for women in and around Manchester, whatever their cultural or background may be.
Al Manhal is split into an English-speaking division and an Arabic-speaking division. We have strong links with The Society of the Conservation of the Qur’aan, Jordan (جمعية المحافظة على القرآن الكريم). Our main course material is the book Al Muneer book for the Arab Division and a set of 4 comprehensive Tajweed Booklets for the English Division.
Al Manhal originally catered for Arabic speaking sisters only and started its English speaking division in 2005. The initial English speaking sisters’ class started with around 12 sisters, Al Manhal has now grown to accommodate over 300 English speaking sisters, alhumdu lillah.
Our latest addition has been a Childrens Club which has proven to be very popular in the community.
